About Pennington Presbyterian Nursery School
Pennington Presbyterian Nursery School was founded in 1961 by Wendy Pfeffer and Bev Thurman, teachers, mothers and members of Pennington Presbyterian Church. Over the years, our basic philosophy has remained the same - a child's work is play. We feel that children learn how to solve problems, work with others, and explore the world around them by becoming involved in hands-on learning experiences. Our firm belief is that a strong academic background is based on learning to think, question and use information to form new conclusions and further questions. We are fortunate to have dedicated teachers, most of whom have been with our school for many years. Our staff members love working with young children and find daily classroom experiences as rewarding to themselves as they are to the children.
